What I'm Currently Wearing

I for one love to know what people are wearing on their faces. Being an avid YouTube watcher it lets me see what make up products others are wearing, whether they agree with some products that I use and possibly give me ideas of what I should be buying next to try out myself. With this is mind I thought I'd share my current Make-Up Favourites which I wear on a daily basis. Enjoy!

Favourite Foundation
Rimmel Stay Matte in 100 Ivory (Boots £5.99)
Probably the best foundation that I've ever tried and it's drug store so totally a bargain! I'm on my forth tube since September! It's a mousse texture and is best applied with a buffing brush or beauty blender sponge. I use Real Techniques Buffing Brush from the Core Collection (Boots £21.99) or Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge (Boots £5.99). I would advise to start off applying the foundation in a thin layer as it can be quite thick. But it's definitely got a buildable medium to full coverage. Love it!

Favourite Concealer
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (Boots £4.19)
Probably every British YouTuber and bloggers favourite concealer. Why? Because it's affordable and has good medium coverage. Comes in a three shades - light, medium and dark. Good to use the light under the eye and the medium for blemishes/imperfections.

Favourite Powder
Rimmel Stay Matte Translucent Powder (Boots £3.99)
Another Beauty Blogger favourite. Does what it says on the tin and stays put!

Favourite Bronzer
Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light (Superdrug £6.49)
Unfortunately you can't get this bronzer (as far as I'm aware) outside of the contour kit. The colour is not too dark nor too red which means you successfully dodge the umper lumper look. The highlighter in the kit is also good however I currently prefer...

Favourite Highlighter
Benefit High Beam (lookfantastic.com £19.50)
I prefer this liquid highlighter over the highlighter mentioned above because it's less "sparkly" if that makes any sense. High beam provides a subtle glow to your cheekbones rather than a shimmer. And in winter on a dreary day you don't want to look like you've been caught in a shimmer explosion.

Favourite Blush
Sleek - Aqua Collection - Mirrored Pink (Superdrug £4.49)
Unfortunately I believe this was a Limited Edition blusher and is no longer available in Superdrug. But I love it. The pigmentation is fab and it's got a similar colour to the Nars orgasm blush - it has a similar gold sparkle running through it. Just lovely. All Sleek blushers are amazing though and very affordable. The pigmentation of Sleek blushers is unbelieveable!

Favorite Eye Base
Mac Paint Pot - Painterly (Mac £15)
It's a skin coloured shade so neutralizes any redness/purpleness that can appear around the eyelid area. Perfect base for any eye-shadow and makes the shadow last all day. Bought my pot in Florida and will definitely be repurchasing in September when we visit their again.

Favourite Mascara
Maybelline The Rocket Volum' Mascara Express (Boots £7.99) & Clinque Bottom Lash Mascara (Boots £12)
At the end of last year I was in love with the CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara however unfortunately it eventually ran out and it's not available in the UK (boo!). I had tried the waterproof version of The Rocket and was impressed so thought I'd give the non waterproof version a whirl. The brush is nice and thick and coats your lashes perfectly, creating length and volume. I use the Clinque mascara for my bottom lashes.

Favourite Eye-Liner
Wet 'n' Wild Mega Liner in Black (Amazon.co.uk £3.49)
Bought this in Florida to replace the NYX liquid liner as I had ran out. It has lasted me for five months! And I loved it that much I bought another bottle so wouldn't run out anytime soon. The brush is a perfect size and is perfect for creating a winged eye-liner which I cannot live without.

Favorite Brow Products
Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara (Boots £4.99) and Maybelline Eye Studio Master Shape Brow Pencil (Boots £2.99)
Recently I've been getting into the whole brow thang. I have quite dark brows compared to my natural hair colour so I have to be careful not to go overboard otherwise I would have some serious scouse brows! Two brow products which I use on a daily basis are the Maybelline Brow Drama pencil and mascara. There is just enough colour to fill in your brows without looking scary and the mascara adds even more colour and helps set them in place.

Favourite Eye Palette
Lorac Pro Palette (Amazon.co.uk £54.99)
Again bought this while in Flordia from Sephora so it actually worked out a lot cheaper than the Amazon price. I literally just swatched the gold colour and I was sold! I had seen one of my favourite YouTubers (ThatGirlShaexo) use the palette all the time and I couldn't resist nabbing myself one - haven't regretted it! The palette is very versatile as you can do so many looks with it. Natural looks and smokey eye looks are my favourite looks to create with this. It also came with a mini eye primer - bonus!

Favourite Lipstick
Maybelline Coloursens Nude Lipstick in Tantilizing Taupe (Boots £6.99)
If I'm honest I'm not really a massive lippy fan. The only reason being, I don't suit it. I wish I could wear some vibrant colours but for some reason I just look weird. So when I got this lippy in February's GlossyBox I thought I'd give it a whirl seeing as it's a natural nude shade. I like it! It feels quite moisturizing on the lips and is the perfect colour for me.

I hope you have enjoyed this weekends blog, if you like what you see please leave me a comment and let me know what you'd like to see next.
Muchos love
