So I may have diverted into Boots this lunch time and may have been sucked in by their current 3 for 2 across all make-up brands...
Rimmel BB Cream Matte 9 in 1 in Light (Boots £6.99)
You may have seen on my Facebook and Twitter page that I had finally got my hands on the April edition of Company Magazine which features one of my favourite YouTubers - Zoella on the cover. Inside the magazine there was as advertisement for the new BB (Beauty Balm) by Rimmel. Thought I would give it a whirl but didn't have much hope as I haven't been that impressed with other BB creams. Anyway, I used it this morning and straight away I loved it! It has a fab coverage just like the foundation but without the mousse texture - it's more watery and lighter on the skin. I loved it that much I bought a tube. I think it would be perfect on holiday if you still want the coverage but with a lighter feel and what's best about this is that it's got SPF 15. What more could you want?
Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo in Pink Gold (Boots £4.99)
I am already a fan of these eye bases, they are great dupes of the Mac paint pots. I own three already in Eternal Gold, Permanent Taupe and On and On Bronze so thought one more couldn't hurt. I bought one in the pink gold colour (which would be a great base if your lucky enough to own the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette). I swatched the tester on my hand and it was beautiful - I think it could even work well as a highlighter on the cheekbones.
Seventeen Colour Clash Nail Effects polish in Tropical Punch (Boots £3.99)
I have a few of these polishes from various brands but thought I'd give this a try due to it being a more spring pastel colour. Think it will look nice over similar pastel colours. I shall do a swatch soon.
So there you go. What have we learnt? I should not go into town at lunchtimes.
Muchos love,
Leanne x
