I'm a winged liner kinda gal and I've been trying to find a brilliant waterproof liquid eyeliner that I can use when on holiday. I decided to pick up this little gem after it was recommended to me by a friend (thanks Meggan!). I'm loving it! It's brilliant at creating winged liner, more so than my usual Wet 'n' Wild liquid liner. Will definitely be re-purchasing it!
Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in Lychee (Boots £3.99)
I'm all up for brightly painted nails in the summer but for some reason one day I decided to go more classic and lady like and opted for this lovely natural cream shade by Barry M. I had forgotten how much I liked it and it looks great with a tan!
Sigma Make Me Cool Essentials Kit (www.sigmabeauty.com $75)
As you might be aware this was part of my Beauty Wish List a few months back, well I caved and bought it and I'm soooo glad I did! It's awesome, it has every brush a girl could need! A flat foundation brush, a contour brush, powder brush, blending brush, eye-shadow brush and a pencil brush - not to mention that it came with a free lip liner brush which can be doubled up as an eye-liner brush! The brushes themselves are the softest brushes I have ever felt and I couldn't stop stroking my face with them when they first arrived! Definitely worth the price tag.
Touch of Silver, Twice a Week Brightening Shampoo (Boots £3.09)
Since having blonde put back in my hair I needed to use something that wouldn't strip my hair of the colour, so I went back to using this shampoo twice a week and it works! It leaves your hair feeling nice and clean, not stripped and makes your hair look brighter/blonder. It's a purple colour but don't let that put you off. They also have conditioners and dry shampoos in the range which are also fab!
MUA Bronzer in shade 3 (Superdrug £1)
This is a hidden gem and a bargain! It's from a cheap make up brand that is in Superdrug and I've already mentioned that I love their eye-shadow palettes. This bronzer is awesome as there is no shimmer at all and the colour pay off is good - especially for only a pound! Emma Pickles of YouTube fame is also a fan of this cheap and cheerful product.
Maybelline Super Stay 24h Waterproof Powder (Boots £5.99)
As I'm whizzing off to Florida in September I've started my search for long lasting waterproof make-up that will fight against the humidity, sweat and water rides. Don't get me wrong I still love the Rimmel Stay Matte powder but seeing as this said it was waterproof I thought I would give it a try. The powder does not make your face look cakey at all and has the staying power that I need - we'll see if it copes in the Florida heat!
Dior Blooming Bouquet Perfume 50ml (Boots £54.50)
This is a bit of a cheat favourite to be honest and unfortunately I don't actually own this perfume due to the massive price tag but I picked up a sample of it as my local Boots store and fell in love with it! It may have to be put on my birthday wish list!
Mistresses (USA version)
Thanks to Sky and their new box set thingy me and the boyfriend have access to loads of new series - hurrah! I wanted to start one which I could watch when he was out of the house so I chose Mistresses. I believe there is a UK version but the version I've been watching and loving is the USA version. It's easy watching and doesn't require any brain power and it's definitely more for the females. I've nearing finished Season 1 and it's getting interesting!
John Legend - All of Me
This song has been going round and round in my head! Love it.
Hope your enjoyed this months Favourites.
