Easy Spring Nails

Not everyone is a mastered nail artist but with the help of a few of your favourite nail brands and tools you can do your own nail art at home and it's not that hard.

I have chosen four designs which are extremely easy to do and all take below five minutes to do!

Apple Crumble

1. Start off by painting all your nails a lovely mint shade. I chose Models Own in Apple Pie (it smells like Apple!).

2. Follow up by using Barry M's Nail Effect Confetti in Sour Apple all over the nail. Ensure that the confetti is evenly spread over the entire nail - you don't want blank patches!

3.Finish off by using your favorite top coat to add shine and protection to your design.

Pink Candy

1. Paint your nails a bumble gum pink colour, for this I used Nails Inc Walton Place. You may need to paint two layers of this colour as it can be quite sheer.

2. Next use Seventeen's Nail Effects in Tropical Punch, again ensuring that the specs are evenly placed.

3. Finish off by using your favorite top coat to add shine and protection to your design.

Blue Daisy Field

1. Paint your nails in a lovely vibrant blue colour, I chose one of favourites - Barry M's Gelly Nail Paint in Blueberry.

2. Next using either a dotting tool (pictured) or a tooth pick use your white nail polish (I used Natural Collection) to make five dots in a circle. Then drag each dot into the middle which makes the petals.

3. Do this however many times you want on each nail depending on how many flowers you want.

4. Ensure to clean your dotting tool before dipping it into another colour to make the centre of the flower. I chose CiĆ¢te Fit for a Queen for the centre of my flowers which is a lovely metallic silver.

5. Finish off by using your favorite top coat to add shine and protection to your design.

Spotty Pastels

1. Paint only your ring finger in one colour, finish the rest of your nails in another colour that compliments the other. I chose Model's Own Hyper Gel in Pink Veneer for my ring finger and for he other nails I used 2True in Shade 14 (how imaginative!).

2. Next using your dotting tool again take your white polish and place dots on your nails ensuring that they are equal spacing apart from each other.

3. Finish off by using your favorite top coat to add shine and protection to your design.

I hope you have enjoyed my mini tutorials this week. If you would like to see more advanced indepth picture tutorials please let me know!
