Chester Shopping Haul

As some of you may know I visited Chester for the weekend with my boyfriend to see his sister and family. This also provided a chance for a bit of retail therapy and I bought more than I had I planned but as the American's say YOLO!

My first stop was Next as I had heard that they had recently started stocking NYX make-up. Unfortunately they don't stock the range in my local store on the rock (Isle of Man). Eventually I found the stand with a small selection of products. They had lots of different shades of the Jumbo eye pencils but I had already bought the ones that I wanted online. So my eyes wondered to the 'Let them eat cake' eye-shadow palette from the Love in Paris range - £10.
The palette has nine shadows, five matte shades, two shimmery shades and two glittery shades and comes with a small applicator. I think this would be perfect for traveling as you could do so many looks with it and it's dinky so won't take up much room.

My second port of call was the Mac counter in Debenhams and if I'm being honest I was not looking for anything in particular and was just going for a mooch. £33 pounds later and I left oops! Could've done a lot more damage to be fair and as I said before YOLO! I was drawn to the blush section and a rather lovely shimmery highlighter which is actually a Cream Colour Base and I was looking at the one in Pearl.
It had a lovely sheen to it and I thought it would look lovely on the cheekbones in the summer for a dewy glow. My next purchase from Mac was one of their sheertone blushes in the colour Peaches. I've recently been trying to find a peachy toned eye-shadow for summer (looks great with black winged liner) but had been unsuccessful. When I saw this blush I was like 'it's perfect!' but obviously I will also be using it for the way it was intended as a blush.

I had been seeing a lot of YouTubers doing Lush hauls and it made me want to have a piece of the pie so along I went. I bought three things, a bath bomb called Avobath (£3.25) which smells like heaven and lemongrass (I have an obsession with lemongrass!), a face mask called Cosmetic Warrior (£5.95) and a body butter bar called King of Skin (£5.50) which I had seen Tanya Burr recommend in a few of her videos.
Infact while I was in there I heard a teenage boy say, "that's the one that Tanya Burr always talks about in her videos" - thank you teenage boy, I had been looking for it and couldn't find it. Top banana!

My last stop was of course the beloved Primark and again if I'm honest I was slightly disappointed. I had seen a few Primark hauls on YouTube and had a few things in mind that I wanted to get. Unfortunately though the dresses that I wanted to get were either sold out or in a size 6 which if you know me would not even go over one thigh! None the less I did find a few things including a pastel blue quilted t-shirt (£6), skinny jeans (£11), statement necklace (£5), eye-lash curlers (£1), liquid eye-liner (£1) and a compact mirror (£1) - not bad for £25!

That's all for now folks!

Muchos love
